Watch for pupils who give the total spent rather than the change; the question asks what comes back.

The conversion must come first; pupils who work in kilometres then add 450 metres mix units.

Which exam is this for?
11+ maths for GL, CEM-style, CSSE, SET and independent entrance. The 11+ maths syllabus is national, number, fractions, ratio, percentages, measures, shape, area and data are tested by every board, so the content suits all of them. What differs is format. Every question here is five-option multiple choice against the clock, which mirrors GL and CEM-style papers directly. If your child sits a written-answer paper such as CSSE in Essex or an independent school's own, use these to build topic fluency and speed, then rehearse setting out working on that school's past papers.
Is this one topic or mixed?
